Help us makesupport run itself

We are building a new kind of customer support tool.
Will you help us make it better?

Our mission

Making customer support autonomous

We believe customer support should run like software. Questions that have been answered once should answer themselves. We are building the tool that does that.

Our agent already resolves conversations end to end. When it finds a bug, it files a Linear issue and follows up once the fix ships. What is left is real product work, and that is the work worth doing by hand.

Getting there takes people who care deeply about the quality of their work, no matter if it is engineering, design, or a customer reply. If that sounds like you, reach out and join us.

Why Productlane

How we work

We are five people in Munich, profitable. Engineers talk to customers and decide what to build. We run the whole company in Linear.

Munich, hybrid

A coworking space in the city. Work from home when you want.

Salary plus equity

Both roles come with a stake in the company.

Six weeks of vacation

Plus German public holidays on top.

Your setup

A MacBook, and the desk setup you want around it.

Wellpass membership

Covers gyms, pools and studios across Germany.

Paid test task

A real task from our backlog, paid either way.

Who we are

Open roles

Product Engineer

Munich, hybrid.

You would work across the whole product, from the support inbox to the Productlane Agent behind it. Making support fully autonomous is the most interesting engineering problem we have.

You would work directly with Raphael and the other engineers. There is no product layer in between, so the spec is usually yours to write.

What we look for

  • Two to five years building customer-facing products.
  • Strong React and TypeScript fundamentals.
  • A track record of taking a complex feature from idea to shipped.
  • You care how it feels. Something that works but feels slow is not finished yet.
  • Some curiosity about running LLMs in production.

GTM Engineer

Munich, hybrid. Base plus commission.

A few thousand people a quarter find us through Google and the Linear integrations directory. You would be the first person on that full time, picking the channel that compounds.

You would also sit in the sales calls. We charge per resolved ticket, so the customers worth winning have serious support volume, and someone has to talk to them.

What we look for

  • You can write. Send us something you wrote that you still stand behind.
  • You know the difference between a post people actually read and one that is correct and ignored.
  • You have opinions about software, and you can explain them to someone who disagrees.
  • You'd rather run one experiment properly than five badly.

What to expect

How hiring works

The process is the same for both roles.

  1. 1An email with a link to something you built or wrote, and where you are based.
  2. 2A conversation with Raphael, the founder.
  3. 3A paid test task on something real from our backlog. We pay for your time either way.
  4. 4A longer conversation with the rest of the team.

Neither role fits? Write to Raphael anyway, especially if you disagree with something above. [email protected]
